Tic Tac Takeover
A new stylized take on a classic game, made for kids.
Developed by multiple Games For Love Interns
This game project was developed with various other game design interns apart of the organization Games For Love.
The primary focus of this project was to create a new style version of the classic Tic-Tac-Toe game that would appeal to children. This was done through separate subteams including Design, Art, Programming, and Audio.
My primary role apart of this project was the Design Team Lead. I organized various other team members in meetings, brainstormed the multiple elements needed for the game while prototyping them, and assembling the games design document. Also, I collaborated with the team leads of the other teams on the project to ensure everything came together as needed within the scope. The process began with the design team drawing up wireframes of the overall gameflow, having the art and audio teams developing the various assets for the game, and the programming team putting things together. Initial playtesting showed issues that were fixed and ultimately led to a final product available for play.
