Avian Adventure
Avian Adventure takes inspiration from the older mobile application game, “Flappy Bird”. As a group, the team undertook this project as to produce a 2D game that focused on using new aspects in Unity, creating asset “pre-fabs” and spawners that create the items in game to above, then later destroy them as a means that a users computer runs proper.
For this project, I took on the role as the main programmer. My duties involved setting up the main game objects that the art assets would implement to take shape. This also involved creating the the pre-fab for the games obstacles, along with the spawning system the obstacles would follow. FInally, the U.I. for the game was created and linked to the main gameplay scene to ensure proper transition from title screen to play area. The game is available for download on itch.io.
